My account, Lunix, was inequitably banned for "botting" on June 15, 2016.

The day before, I was powerfishing in Catherby and watching TV. At one point, I noticed that when I clicked on the fishing spot, my character would instead turn around and walk in the opposite direction. This happened several times in quick succession, which I found odd, but since glitches are common in private servers, I didn't think anything of it. I thought about typing something to the guy fishing next to me, but since he hadn't said anything for a while, I remained silent. The next day I was banned.

Now, it turns out that it wasn't a glitch. I later found out, from a friend that was a moderator at the time, that another moderator had logged onto an invisible account and had summoned me a few squares away to see what would happen. Since I tried to keep fishing and didn't say anything, I was presumed guilty. This was the "proof" that I had broken the rules. There are several problems with this. First of all, when you're summoned from a few squares away, the character walks to the summoned spot, and doesn't teleport. This made it hard to recognize that I was being summoned. But second of all, and most importantly, no communication with me was attempted whatsoever. Apparently this was a departure from the normal (common sense) bot check procedure, and had any communication with me been attempted I would have instantly been exonerated.

I have never broken the rules on this server or on any others and never will. I don't harbor any ill will towards anyone here. I'd like for my account to be reinstated.
