For anyone who doesn't know. One of the biggest oil cities in Alberta is being burned to the ground by a vicious fire. The entire city has been/is being evacuated. And people are being moved to the many work camps around the oil sands. The red cross and the army are both mobilizing to help deal with the crisis. All workers still working are being sent home so that families can take there rooms in camp. A few of our players ( Kimb0 and forcekin) were residents of this city. So to those guys, and the whole of fort mac. I hope your alright and I'm deeply sorry for your loss.

I just got shutdown at Fort hills. Flights being arranged to get workers out so the fort mac residents are take our rooms.

Err this wasnt a pipeline. It's an entire city with a dozen or so big refineries built around it. Once my plane takes off I'll snap a few pics. But it is night so idk how well they will turn out.

well i wasnt able to get pictures, as i was in an aisle seat, and it was super dark and smokey out. but i found this one on my facebook.

it was posted about 16 hours ago. it was a really hot, and windy day, and all i could find on the news was stuff from 16-24hours ago. so i fear its gotten worse.

its in canada yeah. and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. the real power of the fire came from a gas station that the fire hit, and it blew up. with high winds it just got insanely out of control, and fast.

Yeah.. I didn't even hear about this anywhere until I heard from some family out west. I can't begin to understand how crazy and terrible it must be for all of you out there right now.
