Hello,

I was attempting to play the web based client, but I keep getting a 404 error.

Then I downloaded the launcher for PC, but every time I try to run the launcher, a box which looks like the command app pops up then goes away. The launcher does not run. I made the rs batch file like I saw in another post, but it still does the same thing. Any pointers?

Why is the web client not working for me?

Thanks in advance.

webclient is no longer available

So as I understand you're launching the launcher via batch file?
care to post what you have in that batch file?

Do you have Java installed on your pc?
*Should be under Program Files

Make sure on your "launcher.jar" that it is opened with "Java(TM) Platform SE binary"

I have tried the batch file and the launcer download. I honestly don't know what I put in it. I copied and pasted from the stickied thread above. I am launching with Java as well.

What version of java are you using & do you have any previous versions installed.

Are you launching via batch file or just double clicking launcher.jar

any screenshots will be helpful

This is what I followed (via Plutos post)
If you have updated your Java and whitelisted this website and are still having problems getting the launcher to load on Windows 10, read the following:

You will need to create a batch script by following these instructions:

1. Open a notepad file
2. Copy and paste this into your notepad file: java -jar Launcher.jar
3. Click file, save as.
4. For the file name, type: rsc.bat
5. For the save as type, choose: all files
6. Click save.
7. Open that rsc.bat file you just created (it will look like a gear file), the launcher should load then.

I am just double clicking the launch file. I didn't have java installed, so I installed it today.
