What do you guys think about runecrafting?

Do you think it would bring in more players to the wilderness?

we could also put rune rocks near the mysterious alter for the runestones? and maybe some addy... also a few high level npcs...

I'd be on board with runecrafting if it were a slow, grinder's skill like crafting or firemaking (except not as painfully boring as firemaking.)  Anything that makes gathering or creating essential items extremely easy like runecrafting does is only detrimental to the economy.
