well i have not actually gotten high enough to slay golums but the two things i hear most about golums is the hate of running to blow them up and the shitty drops.

Maces are never used.  Maces are meant to crush things. Hammer smash face i mean mace smash face.... why not let players be able to crush golums with maces for the killing blow?

Further more you have released rune daggers and rune hatchets. Next move would be what dragon maces? Why not let dragon maces kill golums? Or even better eventually add 2h warhammers with far more satisfying results.
