There's a hightened risk of sinking, and you lack depth perception! DIG!
I've tried the fishing trawler after i sinks, and I've also tried digging my the ship from dragon Slayer.

I tossed this clue as i got stuck..i know its an equipment clue (thinking eye patch - lack of depth perception..lack of an eye and all) but i tried all those digging spots to no avail hmm

Probably wrong but did you try digging at the water rune in Al Kharid mine? Just thought I'd try to help.
Also isn't there a quest where you dig and fall in some where? A tomb or something not sure.
Could even have something to do with a sink? maybe there are more than one sinks in an area. That's another idea.

Ive completed shilo village and can't reenter the bumpy ground temple spot, so that can be it, I've tried the spot where you dig for for biohazard quest in ardy, nothing. Tried digging on fishing trawler before and after it sinks, and around the ship for drgn Slayer after it crashes. I believe this clue is broken.

Did you lack depth perception at the time? Covering one eye would do that.

Yup. Idk maybe it's just messed up for me, I just retired it again and nothing

same, i've tried digging every square of trawler with the eyepatch on and nothing...I've gotten this clue twice now, threw it away the first time and might do that again...
