@yel@Dimintheis@whi@, who lives in eastern Varrock, needs his @lre@Family crest@whi@ to restore him to his rightful position in Varrock. He has three sons who split the @lre@crest@whi@ and aren't talking to him or each other. You have to talk to each son and convince them to give you the @lre@crest fragments@whi@. The father gives you clues one at a time for the sons.

The first son is located in Catherby. He is a @yel@Chef @whi@and you will find him cooking in one of the houses. He will not give you his @lre@crest fragment@whi@ until you helped him with his salad. @yel@The Chef @whi@tells you he needs 5 different types of cooked fish: @lre@Shrimp@whi@, @lre@Salmon@whi@, @lre@Tuna@whi@, @lre@Bass@whi@ and @lre@Swordfish@whi@. After you given the 5 cooked fish to him, he will give you his @lre@crest fragment@whi@ and will tell you the rough location of his brother, advising that you should to talk to the @yel@Gem trader @whi@in Al Kharid.

Head to Al Kharid and talk to @yel@Gem trader @whi@who will tell you of a @yel@man@whi@ in the desert mine to the north, wearing a yellow cape and standing by a gold rock. Find the @yel@Man@whi@ there, his name is Avan. He tells you that he needs to have a @lre@ruby ring@whi@ and a @lre@ruby necklace@whi@, made from the finest @lre@gold@whi@. He tells you to visit @yel@Boot the Dwarf @whi@in the western part of the Dwarven Mine for more information relating to this @lre@gold@whi@. @yel@Boot@whi@ will tell you that it can be mined in a small dungeon east of Ardougne. You'll come to a ladder that leads to Witchaven dungeon head past the @yel@hobgoblins (lvl-48)@whi@, making sure to bring a @lre@pickaxe@whi@. You must pull the @cya@levers@whi@ in the following order:

Go to northern cave-like room. Pull the @cya@lever@whi@ down on the north wall, where you will see an @yel@ogre (lvl-58)@whi@. Go to the south wall, where there are two doors. Enter the room, pull the @cya@lever@whi@ down. Go back to north wall and pull the @cya@lever@whi@ up. Enter the room and pull the @cya@lever@whi@ down. Exit the room and pull the @cya@lever@whi@ on the wall down again. Go to the south room and pull the @cya@lever@whi@ up. Exit the room through the most @cya@western door@whi@. You will then be able to enter the cage area between the rooms and will be faced with a @yel@hellhound (lvl-114)@whi@. There are three @cya@gold rocks@whi@ here; mine at least two of them. You must have talked with @yel@Boot the Dwarf @whi@in order to mine them. Now that you have the fine @lre@gold@whi@ you can make the @lre@Ruby ring@whi@ and @lre@Ruby necklace@whi@. Once you're done, go back to the @yel@Man@whi@ in the Al-Kharid mine and he will reward you with his @lre@Crest fragment@whi@. He will also tell you about his younger brother who has the last @lre@fragment@whi@.

You will find the third brother, a @yel@wizard@whi@, upstairs in the Jolly Boar Inn near the eastern wilderness border. He has been poisoned by spiders. Use your @lre@Cure poison Potion@whi@ on him and he will tell you the location of the last @lre@crest fragment@whi@ and how to kill the demon @yel@Chronozon@whi@, who is holding it. Before going to Edgeville Dungeon, make sure you have @lre@4 Death-Rune@whi@s, @lre@5 Fire-Runes@whi@, @lre@4 Earth-Runes@whi@, @lre@3 Water-Runes@whi@, an @lre@Air staff@whi@ (and possibly @lre@cure poison@whi@ and @lre@prayer restore potions@whi@). You need these runes for casting the elemental blast spells (Wind blast, Water blast, Earth blast, and Fire blast), all of them must be cast on @yel@Chronozon@whi@ at least once in order to kill him. You can find him right at the end of the dungeon near the @cya@Earth Obelisk@whi@, past the level 156 @yel@black demons and level 63 @yel@poison spider@whi@s. After you kill him he will drop the third @lre@crest fragment@whi@.

Take the three @lre@crest fragments@whi@ and return to @yel@Dimintheis@whi@. He will reward you with a pair of @lre@Steel gauntlets@whi@, and tells you to speak to one of his sons so that they may enchant them. Instead, bank your @lre@steel gauntlets@whi@ and then talk to the brothers to receive each one free of charge! The first son, the @yel@Chef @whi@will give you the @lre@Gauntlets of cooking@whi@, which reduce the chance of burning food when cooking. The second son, @yel@Avan @whi@will give you the  @lre@Gauntlets of goldsmithing@whi@, which increase the smithing experience you gain when smelting  @lre@gold@whi@. The third son, the @yel@Wizard @whi@will give you the @lre@Gauntlets of chaos@whi@, which increase the damage dealt by the elemental bolt spells. Every pair gives the same bonuses as @lre@Klank's Gauntlets@whi@ from Underground Pass, making them useful for combat.
