I remember playing this game heavily on this exact computer with zero issues, it's classic after all..

Now - I can't even move. I had to do the .bat work around posted from 25 NOV 17 in this forum to even get the .jar to launch. I want to play, but at this current state it's completely out of the question.

Try talking to Uncle on discord.  This is on your end.
I can run 4 clients at once, all with 50 fps and no lag :\  ( and my laptop is 4 years old )

i run on a 10 plus yr old laptop with cellular internet due to rural living and i usually get 25 to 35 fps. its horrid but playable still
