Rogue monster events

The idea is to have a random, high level monster (lvl 285 man anyone?) Spawn in a random area, players can fight them for loot related to the monster, but in larger numbers.
The spawn location would be completely random, and the monster wouldn't be aggressive to spare newbies in lumbridge from getting massacred by a giant bat. The loot would be related to the monster spawned, for example: a human type would drop several high level herbs instead of a single herb, also dropping a large amount of gold to add to the attractability of said event.

Would be cool if it did that plus dropped for 3 people like the xmas event monster did.

Should add reaper loot drop formula.
I mean everyone hit +20% demage to get loot.
And yes, sounds cool, hide & seek and boss raid, 2 in 1

pretty cool idea i think it would be cool if a notice showed up where its located so we could know where it is i think even small monster raids would be cool for example ::firegiants raiding lumbridge! doesnt have to be fire giants maybe random monsters other than that i like ur idea very cool

I suggested awhile ago, to make a random monster spawn few times a day in wild, random location, around kbd strength that drops really well(be great for adding general traffic to wild)

Well, the main point of this was to have an activity people could work together for, and involve a small area around them. I got the idea mainly from the FATE events in final fantasy 14, which had drops, exp drops, and involved either killing a group of monsters, a single boss monster, or escorting important npcs through several waves of monsters. The idea was mainly to make the world seem more alive with what looks like random events. I think it would work here to keep people from stalling on edgeville. The plus point would be that there could be a whole slew of new, event related items, either vanity or with stats, and maybe if an achievement or title system gets implemented, those could drop from said events as well. Said events could happen in the overworld as well as the wilderness and will likely increase traffic over REV in general.
