To start the quest, talk to @yel@Morgan@whi@ in Draynor Village. He will want you to kill a vampire that has been terrorizing the village. However, he first wants you to talk to his friend, @yel@Doctor Harlow@whi@, a retired vampire hunter. @yel@Doctor Harlow@whi@ is located in the Jolly Boar Inn, located northeast of Varrock at the edge of the Wilderness. However, before you do so, go to the second floor in @yel@Morgan@whi@'s house and search the @cya@cupboard@whi@ to find a clove of @lre@garlic@whi@.

Once you're at the inn, buy a @lre@beer@whi@ from the @yel@bartender@whi@, and then talk to @yel@Doctor Harlow@whi@. Tell him @yel@Morgan@whi@ needs his help, and he will want a @lre@beer@whi@. Give him the @lre@beer@whi@, and then he will then tell you that you require a @lre@hammer@whi@ and a @lre@stake@whi@ to kill a vampire. He will give you a @lre@stake@whi@, while you will be required to get a @lre@hammer@whi@ yourself. Just buy one from a general store.

You can now kill the vampire @yel@Count Draynor@whi@. If you are of lower level combat, get prepared with a decent weapon, armor, and food. Grab your @lre@hammer@whi@, @lre@stake@whi@, and @lre@garlic@whi@. Now head to Draynor Manor, located north of Draynor Village, and go to the large stairs in the large eastern room. Go down the stairs and you will be in the basement. Search the @cya@coffin@whi@ and @yel@Count Draynor@whi@ will appear. Fight him, and when his hits are very low, equip the @lre@stake@whi@ as a weapon. You will drive it in him with the @lre@hammer@whi@ and he will die, saving the people of Draynor Village and completing the quest.
