Deep in the wilderness, just north of the lvl-50 obelisk platform, a gravestone emerges from the charred, forsaken earth…
Place your palm against this ancient relic, and you will descend into a dungeon overrun by evil and death.
At the center of this dungeon (non-wildy), after passing NPCs from weak to stronger, lies the Reaper, a devastating foe who brings death to bold adventurers foolish enough to seek his treasures. Those who enter into his chamber will be met with alternating godspell blasts, powerful melee strikes, and Reaper’s loyal Hellhounds who restore his health if they are not smitten down quickly.
The dungeon has many dead ends, so if it’s your first time you will have to find your way through the maze. There is a bank somewhere in the dungeon, to deposit your loot.
Since the Reaper has such powerful attributes, I would recommend going with no less than a team of 2+ flats, ideally a tank to draw his powerful attack; rangers to deal as much damage as possible throughout the fight; and someone with support spells to debuff the Reaper. Or everyone could be a jack of all trades. Whoever is tanking the Reaper would be well advised to use Paralyze Monster spell to block 50% of his damage, otherwise you could get 3-hit! Rings of Resistance are also highly recommended for your tank.
In order to get a shot at the Reaper’s drops, you will need to take enough of his health in the battle - if everyone does their fair share of damage to him, everyone can get their own individual drop. This ranges from supplies and gear to extremely rare cape.
The odds of getting that are extremely rare, substantially rarer than any other drop in the game by a huge margin, and the Reaper takes much longer to kill than any other NPC in the game. I honestly would be surprised if anyone got.
I never farmed this when it was here before are the drops shared or does the person who deals the final damage get the drop?
Yah there's some system in place for sharing, so everybody gets some, but i don't exactly remember how it works
Something about if you did 20% of total damage you get a big loot roll, or if nobody did 20% its just the one with the most damage or something? but i dont know if all this stuff only applied to halloween event
