Hey guys, thanks for the kind words...

I hope this helps answer your questions:

so the way it works:  PID determines what happens when a monster is killed in the game
whichever PID is identified as the one who did the MOST damage to a monster, they get the drop + whatever effect the monster has
for example, slaying Elvarg teleports you from her lair
or the Black Knight Titan teleports you across the river
or if a monster puts something into your inventory
such as the Paladins
in ug pass
or the ogres that spawn big bones underneath you
these demons would teleport you to a certain tile when you kill them
we decided that was the funniest spot and most dangerous
so we would time it right by lowering its hp, swapping pid with our target
and log back in
kill it the rest of the way

how would you even swap PIDs with a specific target?

Wait how!?!??!

They would throw a gnome ball, the bot would catch it and it would replace their weapon with the gnome ball.

This has nothing to do with the swap. He threw the gnome ball so it would be protected over the party hat.

how would you even swap PIDs with a specific target?

example:
1. My PID is 100
2. I take an NPC down > 50%, this specifically NPC has the ability to tp me to certain areas (in this case underground passage)
3. I log off
4. Some random kid bot logs in (takes my old pid, his Pid = 100)
5. I log in, kill the NPC, make sure  I don't do over 50% damage. With assistance from alts accounts or a friend, to help kill the NPC if needed
6. finish off the monster, the monster teleports whoever did the most damage - in this case pid 100 = new guy who just logged in.
6.5. As you can see from 0:56-0:59 in that clip as soon as that rune guy koed the black demon, a new player appeared immediately. that new guy is who he PID swapped with. The black demon monster TPed the new guy since his PID is linked to having the most dmg. It's possible because the black demon is a quest monster who can tp ppl after he's defeated.
7. new guy with pid 100 gets teleported to dangerous area. most likely a bot so he's afked. virtually everyone was afked botting in rscr, so it's not difficult
8. new guy gets koed by that doomion monster.
9. I pick up his shit.
10. The target is mostly luck. You don't know who will get your pid, but many ppl in rsc were botters with huge bank. They probably did it to a lot of ppl, some worked out well, some didn't. they recorded the big drops. kinda clever.

Wonder if that was one of those "game breaking bugs" that got rsc closed... and a few people dead big_smile
