Fire giants, and demon rune drops have been slightly lowered.

Nice. Now we only have to kill 1000+ KBDs to get a chance of a good drop, still not the best odds! But we're moving the right direction, love the dbone certs.

How much was the decrease on demons? I feel like it's about as 1/3rd as good now. I have recently stopped going there while training a pure. Prior to the update though I'd expect 5 ish rune items with a load of food, now I seem to get 1 maybe 2 if I'm lucky but I haven't been doing the runs as constantly so it could just be a coincidence.

I lowered it by 1/3th or so, so you should be getting approximately 2/3 rune items you used to.

This is not the way to make something viable. As someone pointed out you need to kill 1,000 kbd to get something ok.
As rscrevolution has shown in rs2/rs3 rare drops do not work to make a monster worth fighting.

Consistency does. If you added 1 dragon bone certificate to each KBD kill, it would be more useful. If you added some other certificates to the drop table. 5 limpwurt root certs, snape grass certs etc. Consistent useful items make a monster worth fighting.

Also if you noted the random bar drops, like adam bars n gems. It may help as well.

To put this in further perspective as a flats character who normally catches the dragon (so he doesn't get first hit damage on me) and who logs out immediately to save the super potion levels, I can kill 13-15 a run. Ive done it a few time and pulled back 300-500k in items each time. So the value is not too bad its just the dam mith battle axes, and adam hatchets, adam bar and mith bar you're like wtf?

expected value added per run = kills * ( p_dbaxe * value + p_dlong * value + p_10dbonecert * value + p_gp * value)

Adding realistic values:

expected value added per run = 14 * ( 0.0007 * 230000 + 0.0007 * 110000 + 0.0081 * 7000*50 + 0.001 * 500000)
                                 = 53595 gp

All in all, that's really not much. Adding a dbone cert drop everytime would add 525k in value which seems pretty reasonable.

Just did a run using blood spells to help kill kbd faster. I killed 7 total. The new combat npc vs character formula sucks sad

+1 to rune Knights comments It's killing the edge dungeon because no one can afk at skelletons anymore due to getting hit too hard.

This is pushing more people to pirates and spiders and with the new players it's getting packed at pirates.
