~Changes and Fixes~

Changes and Fixes:

-Pixelated graphics on default resolution fixed.
-Defense gui updated with Equipment stats and custom Rev gear.
-Crafting gui updated with XP rates and additional information on how to make items.
-Smithing gui updated with XP and bar requirements for each item.
-Woodcut cape fixed to add +2 to batch count.
-Changed PM and Global chat colors to make them more visually appealing.
-@pnk@ has been added as a new chat color and is available for team names.
-

We have adjusted rings that we felt were nerfed too much in the past:

-Buffed Ring of Resistance to take 50 damage before it disappears. Hits still have 1/3 chance of being absorbed.
-Buffed Ring of Reflection to reflect 10% of damage every time instead at random.
-Fixed Demonslayer Ring.


The following items now show charges left when examining them:

-Dragonstone Amulet
-PK Cape
-Slayer Ring
-Slayer amulet
-Ring of embers
-Ring of reflection
-Ring of resistance
-Ring of riches

NEW kill-streak messages will now be displayed in global channel 2:

Number of kills in a short time span (30 seconds):

-Double kill - 2 kills
-Triple kill - 3 kills
-Ultra kill - 4 kills
-Rampage - 5 kills and above


Number of kills without dying (streaks):

-Killing Spree - 3 kills
-Dominating - 4 kills
-Mega Kill - 5 kills
-Unstoppable - 6 kills
-Wicked Sick - 7 kills
-Monster kill - 8 kills
-Godlike - 9 kills
-Beyond Godlike - 10 kills and above

~By Popular Demand, Team Fort Returns~


Over the next few days, Mod Rapps and I will be redesigning the actual Fort Landscape, according to input he gathers from players.


Rules within Fort remain almost as they were in the past. 
The only changes are:

1) There is a 2 IP limit.  This will be done on a trial basis. If it is met with positive feedback, it will remain.
2) Kill loot will again drop to the ground.
3) Capture time has been reduced to 30 seconds
4) Command to view the bank has changed to ::fortbank

  • Team Fort is a "castle" at wilderness level 35 near the altar.
  • The XP rate multiplier at team fort is 1.5x.
  • This is a 2 character per IP zone. If you bypass our protection to abuse this, you will be punished.
  • If you kill another player while inside Fort, the items they drop will drop to the ground to be looted.
  • Fort Bank will transfer to the Team Bank of the current holding team after 30 minutes has passed.
  • You can check to see Fort Bank's contents in game by typing ::fortbank.


Fort Bank
A bank specifically designed for fort, you can only deposit items to it and all NPC drops and resources obtained inside fort go there automatically.
(PK kill drops do NOT go into fort bank)

  • Items inside the fort bank will be transferred to your team bank each half hour. If another team takes control while your teams's timer is at 15 minutes, the new team's timer will start at 30 minutes. If your team re-captures, your timer will still be at 15 minutes. However, all team's timers reset to 30 minutes again after the bank transfers.
  • You have to keep the fort in control for a half hour after capturing it to get the items to transfer to your team's bank (accessible by any banker).
  • Team banks are limited in size unless you purchase more space from the Team Vendor in Edge. A team's bank will start out with 30 spaces and the Team Vendor will sell you increments of 30 more spaces for 3,000,000 coins each.
  • Whichever team keeps control of the fort bank for a half hour will get these items transferred, even if the items inside were deposited there by another team.

The bank chest on the left is for your personal banking needs.  The chest on the right is the actual fort bank.

Taking Control
To take control of the fort you will have to enter the bank area and capture the fort bank chest. Once you have clicked on the chest, it takes 30 seconds uninterrupted to capture. You must remain in place until capture is completed or the capture will fail. Any opposing team member can interrupt this by triggering the chest.
For example; Team A controls fort currently, Team B comes in and kills Team A. Team B triggers the chest capture countdown, if nobody interrupts then Team B will get control of the fort.

What alls needed now?

Looks like you need min of 106 power, before i though 103 was the highest? (with the +9 from demon ring if it goes off (unless its every hit now, would be major +1 if so))

Drag axe +76
Ruby amulet +11
Klanks (guess rune now? thats +1/2?) Using addy right now so +3
str cape gives +4
demon ring for +9
Right now total 94+9 (rune gives +1over addy so 95+9) = 104..Wheres the extra 2 power come from?

I hope fort changes to 1ip.  The majority of players voted for it.

Like a lot of people who voted yes, I was planning on actually give pking a shot when 1ip had been implemented.
