Exp eggs not working with slayer

I recently used a 1hr exp egg for intended use while doing slayer task. I was informed by mod Mel the new content isn't coded for exp eggs. I submitted a ticket as well. Well I be able to get my egg returned?

There will be no giving of rare items because you bought eggs.

Trog, I will refund your egg and add to slayer guide that the eggs will not work for slayer.
