This update has broken ranged.

Previously if you shot a monster and then ran past it's max agro ranged it would, after some time, walk away.

Now if you run past it's max agro range it just stands there, looking dumb and eating arrows.

Don't get me wrong, this makes this very easy for me. But it seems like a bug that should be reported.

Edit: Never mind, there seems to be something else at play.

The ::logout command was removed because it caused the client to visually log out, regardless of whether or not the character actually was able to log out server-side (due to being in combat too recently, or other reasons). So it was quite common for people to use the command in and out of the wilderness, then log back in dead because they hadn't actually logged out when they thought they did.

What needs fixing is when there is a huge team fight the game starts lagging to shit.

I swear its the fact that everyone is maging at the same time and it slows the game or some shit.

right on. i never knew about the ranged auto following thingy. I'm  more a run up and deposit my sword in your belly kinda guy.

I utilized the feature to log a char (on screen) so I could log in a new one. The timer would log out eventually and I knew the risk of death if applicable.

This morning, I logged in the incorrect character which was in tutorial island. I could not log out using ::logout NOR clicking logout. When I went to click logout, the wrench menu would close automatically. I ended up having to "leave island" then log out. I have a bunch of Leg transfers that are still on island so hopefully I don't type the incorrect numbers in the name again.

Couldn't you just close the client?

I hate that range don't run you into range anymore... so much more annoying to range now. Why was this changed from how RSC was? Bad change imo.
