Not everytime, but this has happened 10+ times in one pk session. Maybe due to the server change and majority of pkers lagging more? Including myself.
Its not a massive bug, just an annoying one.

Brah, I made that as a joke comment aha, home teleport is already a thing, so the slippers would pretty much be useless.
Joke ideas on par with:
Pumpkin head! (Similar to existing skeleton head)
Shark head! (gives additional fishing bonus)
Superhero customes (Hulk gives strength bonus, Iron Man gives attack, Captain America gives defence, Arrow/Hawkeye gives range for example)
Witch/Wizard costumes (gives magic bonus) - Gandalf/Dumbledork
Devil Inside Nun mask/costume (gives pray bonus, or reduces the effect of other players pray since shes an evil sob)
LOL.
