I just finally put a whip together. Cost me WAY more than I should have spent on teeth, but I just had to have it.

I'm going to leave the exact stats a mystery, but I will say that it has more weapon power than drag axe plus way more aim than the original whip. Pretty good stats and obviously looks pretty badass.

Edit: Also, it does not surpass the killing speed of the composite bow, especially if you're using good arrows. However, monsters with really high defense it may come close, due to the physical hit from the bow missing much more often with it's low aim.

We should be able to activate dbl exp when talking to npc instead of having it worldwide, like we used to. Fair to other players who live in the different timezones.

I made a suggestion ages ago to just hand out a given number of dbl exp eggs per double xp event (And they disappear after like 2 weeks or so if un-used) but it hasn't been implemented yet. Would make everyone happy except for the people that sink 18+ hours a day into the game when double exp is on and benefit the most...

Still a great event though I like the new eggs!

Make it to where you can't sit in a bank 24/7 to get coins and experience. If you are in a "safe" zone then you shouldn't get any benefits. Make the radius around the safe zone to be wider in a way not to gain xp or coins until you are a certain distance away.

If it’s xp or coins you’re worried about then only the greater demons in edge make a difference, which with the areas we are restricted to we shouldn’t be able to kill those (although there is a stray one in fally party room)

Actually the guards this year was an issue, right next to a safe zone in 1v1, at least the imps was in multi (best place to kill those was on edge)

I can’t think of anything else significant you can do in a safe zone to gain xp or coins, other than skilling, which requires leaving the safe zone to gather materials unless ur fishing shrimps in lumb

To appeal to the widest range of players though, it's ok to have a few low risk and super low risk prizes. The reward for them wasn't huge, and anything to draw in extra participants is a good thing. The very best rewards should be in extremely risky areas to crank up the action, absolutely. That's a given.

Ranging the greater demons was kinda bullshit though. I stayed 1 range the whole event so I didn't abuse that. XD I tried to go buy a bow in varrock twice and got pked, then said fk it because I didn't have a lot of time to train anyway. Hell it was over 2 weeks in before I even hit lvl 60.

What I really find amazing is that people had full rune and r2h before they gave out the 250k GP. I barely was able to farm enough GP for addy 2H during that time!

I think they should add like a 1-3 hour daily training limit so the people with 18 hours a day to blow don't have such a huge advantage. They can run around and pk all they want, but after you hit your daily cap you can't gain XP or GP drops.

Wow, really, REALLY interesting and large amount of prizes for the DMM for a wide range of statistics. That's really cool, and gives everyone something to shoot for even if they're not the best PKer out there. This will REALLY crank up the participation.

Awesome update I'm going to get back into it especially with the XP increase.

Edit: Dark Wizards will be a hotspot fighting for that black p hat!

Fletching Leveling Guide Please? by Synbios

Don't bother making low level arrows like bronze or iron, more expensive and slower exp.

Cut or buy regular logs. Make arrow shafts until lvl 5, move to shortbows until lvl 10, longbows until lvl 20 where you can move up to oak logs. And so on. Click on the fletching skill in your stats tab and it will tell you when you can make what. Do so accordingly.

Given the price of bowstrings, it's always better especially for the lower lvl bows to not bother stringing them. Stringing gives the same exp, and it's way cheaper to just buy more logs. Or if you cut them, much quicker to cut more logs than to go make bow strings.

Once you get to level 85 it may be worth stringing magic longbows, but nothing less than that.

That's really all there is to it. You can mix in making arrows for EXP which may be a little faster with the high level arrows like addy/rune but it may cost you more time and money gathering/buying the supplies for doing that. I would say the logs are the best way.

Looks like my 2500 casts I donated. I just realized like a dumbass that I should of given you 12,500 fire runes not 15,000 lol. Feel free to keep the extra 2500 if you want to as a tip to say thanks for doing these events seeing as I intended to donate an even 2500 casts.

lots of good guys here don't let the few pieces of crap scare you off just ignore them. better yet build your stats to 99 form a nice little band of friends and throw them out of the wilderness right on their ass!

Ultimate Wildy Slayer Master by Synbios

No Dissever in game yet - is it even able to be dropped (bugged?) even if it was something insane like 1/10k or 1/25k odds say there would be at least one in the game.  So it's either bugged or something insane like 1/250k.

Also, not going to bitch about the drops from wraiths - I understand what's going on there - you either make bank or you lose money, and that's fine.  Can we at least get the correct slayer XP though?  432 slayer xp on a 750HP monster.  Task takes multiple hours, so I am hoping it atleast becomes good xp/hr.

I thought the same thing. Buff up the Wraith's Att/Str therefore raising his CB level enough so he gives somewhere between 800-1000 slayer xp per kill. Would at least be worth doing the task for EXP even though basically it's all or nothing on drops....the 750 HP is a bitch for such low XP and most of the time no drops.
