Wild Clue Anagrams + NPC Locations, Dig Locations, Item List by ReconOne

Treasure Trails > Wild Clue Anagrams + NPC Locations, Dig Locations, Item List > Re: 19 Sep 2023 04:34

If you want to use the formatting I did for the other clues (I've been away so long didn't even know new clues were out haha)

Here's how i did the dig clues for the format with the little image/gif using https://snag.gy with a free account

****************************************************************************************************

1. Watchtower second floor

Varrock: 5.66 // 5.65 South-West Above you
Warnings: Bring Anti Poison potion incase Saradominist Mage spawns
mGBHbZ.jpg

Obviously modify it to match the new clue names/locations and any info (like the anti poison pot)

I may jump on the next few weeks here and there and just do those clues to grab screenshots and can make a new write up.

****************************************************************************************************
[h]1. Watchtower second floor[/h]
Varrock: 5.66 // 5.65 South-West Above you
Warnings: Bring Anti Poison potion incase Saradominist Mage spawns

Dig by the large vase where the road ends suddenly. - Digsite (very northeastern corner of North vase).

I've recently gotten this one, and feel like I tried digging every square around all 3 giant vases within a 2 square radius (where possible) to try and figure this one out. The workmen from the digsite pop up each time you try to dig so it's double-frustrating to fail each dig lol. I ended up dropping the clue to move on with my day, lol.

I have it down as this with the note about walking around.  Is the clue worded like

"Dig by the large vase where the road ends suddenly"

or

Dig by the vase where the road suddenly ends

If the former, i can update it to in the main article to make searching easier.

Medium- Dig by the vase where the road suddenly ends. ==== North of digsite (walk around the outside(west) of digsite) by the urn (very northeastern corner of North vase)

So updated the main page, some of the dig clues are off again by what seems .01 or so, found 1 so far (hard clue off reaper) but not really doing them yet, so if you find any others let me know the update to the Dig # from the varrock tele and ill swap it out with (verified date of X-x-x) to make it easier to see when they were last checked and what not.

Hard Clue - Digsite Digging by ReconOne

Treasure Trails > Hard Clue - Digsite Digging > Re: 24 Apr 2020 22:41

I've only done it after completing the quest, but if you are not on the exact square it will have the workmen stop you.  Remember, once it says dig around here, its within 1 square of you, so might not be hitting it exactly if it does allow you to do it without the quest (never tested on my guys for that)

Can check against the SS on my Dig location post under #23. Dig site to make sure you are on the right square..still doesnt work, its quest locked (like a few other hard digs)

Oh little bucket only if you knew, the argument of colors happening by you. Oh little short sword clasped between my hands, aren't you the weakest one in the land.

Solution: Goblin village, dig at the bucket spawn spot with a bronze short sword equipped.

Treasure Trails > !!!!!!~~~~~Easy/Medium Clue dig locations~~~~~!!!!!!! > Re: 5 Dec 2019 16:24

Just looked through, looks like you did a lot of them based on Drag ammy teleport, which isnt the best way as unless you have quest cape for porting to heros you will run out quick at 4 charges each.  For easys you would use up a full D ammy charge each clue (on average), so unless you had tons or want to trade them to an account with access to Q cape to charge, its not effective.

Easys are setup so they dont require any quests so just using the base teleport spots would be best for them.  Mediums dont require quest cape either (obviously helpful)

Normally when i do easys if im in fally area and it shows SE, i go lumby and see from there, NE go varrock and check distance number

If you had to pick one spot, fally tele would be the best as there are those few up in trav/the ridge/zammy temple/camlot area, plus barb village, draynor, and port sarim from one tele location.  Its more of the central location.  Reason i picked varrock for hards is primarily due to the wilderness digs.

Treasure Trails > !!!!!!~~~~~Easy/Medium Clue dig locations~~~~~!!!!!!! > Re: 5 Dec 2019 07:01

Heres a few of the easys, just use them for quick reference for the spot to go since im usually moving 3-4 guys at once.  Kara one is nice to memorize from fally

Fally 1.77 SE  =  1.08 SW lumby  = Wiz tower
Fally 1.21 NW == Zammy temple
fally 0.5 nw == lady of water
fally 0.8 NW == trav center
fally 0.89 NE == barb village
Fally 0.71 NW == up on ridge
Fally 1.08 NW ==  camlot area wt mts
Fally 1.64 SW == Kara palm tree
Fally 1.13 SW == by rim well
Fally 1.15 SE == Draynor stalls
Camlot 1.95 SW == brax falls i believe
Lumby 1.05 NW == draynor village stalls
Lumby 1.08 SW == behind wiz tower
Lumby 1.78NW == barb village
Lumby 0.98 NW  ==  Varrock by champ guild
Lumby 1.34 NW == Draynor web
lumby 0.65 NW == grain field by mill
varr 0.99 SE  desert Mine
Varr 0.98 SW == Draynor web
Varr 0.57 SE == East varr mine
varr 1.14 SW == grain field

The hard clue dig location numbers recently changed. I'll paste an excel spreadsheet shortly with most of the new data (all reference points being varrock tele spot). All of the dig locations are still the same though, just navigating is slightly different due to updates.

Thanks, ill get the main post updated with what you have

I just had a chat with n0m about this coordinate issue. It was an unintentional side-effect of a different update (to do with distance calculation).
He's looking to fix it soon, changing the coordinates/distances back to what they were for clue scrolls smile

Edit: I heard you updated the list already. I'll inform n0m big_smile

We can go back (i have the old one saved still in a different document so its just a matter of copy/paste) or continue with these.

Treasure Trails > !!!!!!~~~~~Anagrams clue Answers WITH locations~~~~~~!!!!!! > Re: 31 Jul 2019 00:43

Yeah just checked, according to the first post there are about 140 anagrams

"In total, there are roughly 120 cryptic clues, 90 coordinates clues, 140 anagram clues"
https://www.rscrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?id=12349
Dont see any new ones added in the expansion part
https://www.rscrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?id=14685

Checked the list and it looks like there might be a few missing.  I have 4 listed as unconfirmed (ones others have said they got, but no screenshot as proof its a valid clue) that i have not personally got.  and with those 4 it totals 139

IO46Zy.jpg

@n0m  Can you check if those bottom 4 are actual clues? if not i can remove them from the list, and that would mean there are actually 5 missing (likely ones i know by heart since i dont actually check it myself anymore so i didn't realize i never added it)

I didn't see it on this post, do you know who it is?
Thanks again

Can you upload a screenshot of the clue, you can use https://snag.gy/ for an easy uploader, just follow the 4 steps then post the URL here.

Really strange that a new clue would be found after all this time thats never been seen before, I dont recall any new anagrams being added when the scavengers were released at least.

Can you take a screenshot of the clue.  Never seen that one and I've done well over 5,000, so unless its a new one you would be crazy lucky.

What was fixed on it or changed?, wanna try to get my 39 hit screenshot if its actually working now

40 is max with it now.

Nice

What alls needed now?

Looks like you need min of 106 power, before i though 103 was the highest? (with the +9 from demon ring if it goes off (unless its every hit now, would be major +1 if so))

Drag axe +76
Ruby amulet +11
Klanks (guess rune now? thats +1/2?) Using addy right now so +3
str cape gives +4
demon ring for +9
Right now total 94+9 (rune gives +1over addy so 95+9) = 104..Wheres the extra 2 power come from?

3). Choosing your edge sitting spot: remember this spot defines who you are. Your pixel hugging street cred is on the line. You must embrace this square and make love to it on a daily basis. It is paramount you choose a location that brings a lot of attention. I recommend the area between the Auction House and Edgeville Bank due to high volume of pedestrians. If anyone dares to stand on your square, you must get them off that square at all cost. I don't care what dirty things you have to do, that square is yours and yours alone.
