I started on this server yesterday,  been playing tunes specifically since 2003 but haven't played in a few years.

What's the fastest  way to make money on this server? I see things are quite different

Collecting unid herbs from chaos druids will get you started pretty quickly, all herblaw secondaries will make you money.

Things aren't that different but they are "easier" to avoid carpal tunnel, exp rates too. Some random things like in the fihing guild there is a swordfish only spot and others
