I think its supposed to be one day and 3 hours......

I got no problem with tokens ending in a couple hours but I think the shop should stay open maybe 48 or 72 hrs afterwards to allow people a chance to redeem as it is a busy day for most of us so might not get the chance to redeem.

And then it was extended... Ruined my hard work.

Same here I had 23k tokens at 4 pm est and had to go to work knowing I couldn't get the phat I bought 2 candy canes and 8 presents. I proceed to check RS at work and find out they extended it to the point I could have my phat. It should not have even been an issue in the first place if we weren't told event was closing 24 hours early. I have never personally owned a phat and was looking forward to getting one. Now I won't get unless we get new ones this year because I won't farm GP for weeks just to get something that doesn't benefit me in anyway. I'm very disappointed in how this event turned out. Took me almost a week to get 1 rare from grincher also when others were getting ridiculous amounts of rares.

..but if you had read the post properly you would've seen that Santa was hanging around for 24hrs after the end of tokens so why didn't you wait ??

Wasnt it a bit stupid to go and cash in your tokens 24hrs before Santa disappeared regardless of being short on tokens.

That's what I did anyway and I'm glad I did and I'm still waiting till tomorrow to cash them in while I consider my options.

It wouldn't matter when tokens were said to end at 5pm EST. Santa hanging for another 24 hours wouldn't effect token drops. I had to work at 4 pm EST. I had 23k tokens at that time. I would not have been able to get tokens after 5 since me having to work at 4 so I cashed in what I had. Not until I check forums at about 6 to see it was extended 24hrs which was bull cause I have since farmed that 2k tokens. They should not lead ppl on like that then say they are shortening it by 24 hrs so ppl cash what they can when they can. Then after the mass panic and token cashing say its being extended 24hrs that's not fair to a majority of players. Especially when we worked our ass off when we could to even get those 25k tokens.
